Pull out kitchen faucet can be compatible with several types of cranes, such as tire mounted faucets attaching to the bathtub’s lip, or even cranes coming out of the wall. Before installing your claw foot tub’s crane, check with your city about local plumbing codes to find out if they limit the location and type of crane you are using. The crane you choose to install on your kitchen should come with its own set of instructions that you should read as well.
Turn off the water supply to the pull out kitchen faucet. You must either look for the shut-off valves for the faucet’s water supply lines that can be located in the wall behind the kitchen. If you do not find the valves, close the house’s main water valve. Fit the faucet to the kitchen. If the kitchen has a crane hole, spread a layer of plumber’s filler on both sides of the faucet’s deck plate and push the deck plate over the underside of the faucet before putting the faucet into the holes.
Wood the compression nuts on the underside of the crane tighten them with a wrench. If the pull out kitchen faucet is independent, you must pull the faucet’s pipe on the water line in the floor. If the faucet sits in the wall above the kitchen, you must pull the faucet components into the pipes in the wall and fasten the knobs with the fixing screws. Linda pipe tape around the threads on the underside of the crane, if your tuba’s crane is a tire mounted model. Feed the power lines on the underside of the faucet.pull out kitchen faucet
